"Ghost Dance"
A Native American ceremony held to pray for the old ways, the ways of the ancestors and their guiding spirits to return, so that once again they can walk in peace and understanding with the Earth and each other. The peaceful Ghost Dance was wrongly perceived by the U.S. Government as a war dance which ultimately resulted in the tragic massacre of the Plains Indians known as Wounded Knee.
